Saxophonist, Clarinetist, Arranger, Composer and Educator, Claudio Jr De Rosa (1992) is a rising musician in the European Jazz Scene.

Included in the list of the top10 Italian emerging musicians in 2018 (Musica Jazz), De Rosa has been awarded several times, both as a leader, co-leader and as an arranger/composer. Mainly as a bandleader, he performed in the Netherlands, Italy, France, England, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Romania, Poland, Taiwan, Canada, Croatia, Morocco, Germany, Georgia, including major highlights at North Sea Jazz Festival 2018, Umbria Jazz 2018&2019, Lantaren Venster, Venice Jazz Festival, Ibiza Jazz Festival, Getxo International Jazz Festival, Taichung Jazz Festival and many others.

As an arranger, he collaborated with the Jazz Orchestra of the Concertgebouw, NSO Orchestra (the Netherlands), as well as NJT Big Band and S. Louis Big Band (Italy). Since 2021 he joined the Theory-Jazz Faculty at the Royal Conservatory of Den Haag, where he teaches Jazz Arranging and Composition.

His latest record, “Next”, is out with Zennez Records on November 19th, 2022.
